Anhui Water Conservancy Technical College (安徽水利水电职业技术学院) was founded in 1952. Its predecessor was the “Huaihe Water Conservancy College” of the Ministry of Water Resources. It is a public full-time ordinary college affiliated to the Provincial Water Resources Department. In 2000, with the approval of the Provincial People’s Government, Anhui Vocational College of Water Resources and Hydropower was formally established. The college is one of the 100 national model vocational colleges in the country and 3 in the province. In 2014, with the approval of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Education, the pilot of the “four-year consistent” undergraduate education reform was first carried out in vocational schools in the province. In 2015, it was approved by the Provincial Department of Education as one of the first 16 local high-quality university construction colleges in the province. In 2016, it was awarded the Civilized Unit of Anhui Province. In 2017, it was honored as one of the top 50 teaching resources in vocational colleges in China. Anhui Water Conservancy Technical College is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, with convenient transportation and beautiful environment.
