Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Forestry (安徽林业职业技术学院) is a provincial public-run full-time general college and is affiliated to the Anhui Forestry Bureau. It is the only higher vocational technical college in our province that cultivates ecological and environmental engineering as the main body and develops in a coordinated and multidisciplinary manner. The college has a history of more than 60 years. It is located in the Dashu Mountain Scenic Area of Hefei and the National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Hefei. It has convenient transportation, is surrounded by mountains and lakes, and has a beautiful environment.

Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Forestry has the Department of Resources and Environment, the Department of Information and Arts, the Department of Economics and Management, the College of Continuing Education, and the Department of Ideological and Political Education. Enrollment covers 27 majors in disciplines such as forestry, electronic information, economics, management, arts, civil engineering, and tourism. Among them: 2 majors supported by the central government (forestry technology, garden technology), and 3 provincial-level specialty programs (forestry technology, garden technology, and horticulture technology). The college strengthens this specialization to help students continue their undergraduate education through multiple channels.

Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Forestry currently has 133 faculty members, 100 full-time teachers, 4 doctors, and 53 masters; 4 professors, 28 associate professors, 32 lecturers, and 35 “double-teacher” teachers; More than 30 professors, experts, and craftsmen have been employed by research institutes and large enterprises for a long time, and the teaching team is stable. The college has 50 on-campus training bases and 34 off-campus training bases, mainly for plant cultivation comprehensive training, landscape design training, seed inspection and pest control comprehensive training, forest resource survey comprehensive training, art design training, Computer network and animation design training and tea art training base. Among them: 2 national vocational education training bases supported by the central government (horticulture, modern forestry), and 2 provincial experimental training demonstration centers (forestry technology, tourism management).

The Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Forestry Library holds 154,000 paper books, more than 360,000 electronic books, and more than 1,200 teaching computers. The college is a national English level four and six, computer level and English application ability test center designated by the Provincial Department of Education. It is an occupational skill appraisal station unique to the Anhui forestry industry designated by the State Forestry Administration and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. The college has a Graduate Employment Guidance Center, dedicated to providing graduates with a full range of employment services. In the past 10 years, the employment rate of college graduates has stabilized at more than 95%, which has sent a large number of constructive talents for local economic and social development.
