Handan Polytechnic College (邯郸职业技术学院) was founded in June 1983 and was formerly known as “Handan Vocational University”. In 1997 it was renamed “Handan Vocational Technical College”. The college has been identified as 15 pilot vocational university pilot schools in the country, national key vocational technical colleges to support the construction of colleges, national talent training work evaluation of outstanding institutions and national backbone higher vocational colleges, national quality colleges and universities construction projects unit. Handan Polytechnic College currently has 2 national quality courses (“Foundation and Basics” and “Type Design”). “Foundation and Basics” has been upgraded to national quality resource sharing courses; 11 provincial-level quality courses. Research and formulated the “Management Measures for the Construction of Quality Professional Courses”, and 15 quality courses have passed the acceptance check. In April 2016, Handan Polytechnic College was identified by the Provincial Department of Education as a national high-quality college construction project unit. The Provincial Department of Education has allocated 9 million yuan in project award funds and 30 million yuan in project construction funds to support the college’s key project construction. The first is to focus on the construction of five majors, such as construction engineering technology, food processing technology, mechatronics, decoration art design, and logistics management, as determined by the Provincial Department, and the computer network, e-commerce, and NC technology identified by the college.
