Hebei Software Institute (河北软件职业技术学院) is affiliated with the Education Department of Hebei Province. It is the first independent vocational college in Hebei province that mainly focuses on information technology education. It is the largest vocational college in Hebei that trains high-skilled personnel in information technology. Vocational college construction unit, the country’s 35 exemplary software vocational and technical colleges, Hebei province’s key construction demonstration higher vocational colleges, and Hebei province university student entrepreneurship education demonstration school. The college is located in the historical and cultural city of Baoding, Hebei Province. The campus covers an area of more than 300 acres and the building area of the school is more than 210,000 square meters. There are more than 10,500 students, including 7,338 students in information technology majors, ranking first in the province’s vocational colleges. Mr. Ni Guangnan, a well-known computer expert and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is the honorary president of the college.
