Changchun Finance College (长春金融高等专科学校, website) is located at the southern end of Renmin Street in Changchun City, Jilin Province, on the shore of the beautiful South Lake. In 1960, the school was established under the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and Trade. It was named Jilin Provincial Financial and Financial School. It had the same roots as the Northeast Bank College, the first financial institution in New China. In 1969, it stopped enrolling students. In 1978, the People’s Bank of China resumed the establishment of the Jilin Provincial Bank School, and in 1979 changed its name to Jilin Bank School. In 1983, the Workers University of the People’s Bank of China Jilin Branch was established in the school. In 1984, it was upgraded to Changchun Financial College. In 1992, it was renamed as Changchun Financial College. The school integrates financial talent training, financial industry training, financial technology innovation, financial culture inheritance and innovation. It is a modern financial vocational education service base in Jilin Province and the main channel for talent supply in the financial service industry.
