Anqing Vocational and Technical College (安庆职业技术学院, website) is located in the national garden city, national historical and cultural city, national forest city, and China’s outstanding tourist city-Anqing City, Anhui Province. The cultural and sports center and Qintan Lake Ecological Park are adjacent to each other, with a superior location and beautiful environment. The campus master plan was designed by Academician He Jingtang, the designer of the China Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo. The name of the school was inscribed by Mr. Qi Gong, a master of Chinese studies and a famous calligrapher.
Anqing Vocational and Technical College was founded in June 2003. It passed the Ministry of Education’s talent training evaluation in 2009 with excellent grades. In 2010, it established a project to build an exemplary higher vocational college in Anhui Province. In December 2014, it passed Anhui Province with excellent grades. Model vocational college project acceptance and personality evaluation of talent training work, successfully established as a local skill-based high-level university construction unit in November 2015, successfully established as a national high-quality college vocational college construction unit in September 2016, 2017 Approved as a pilot unit of the Ministry of Education’s modern apprenticeship system. Anqing Vocational and Technical College now has 35 majors, forming a professional group that supports the development of pillar industries in the service areas such as agriculture, forestry, horticulture, construction engineering, machinery manufacturing, cultural tourism, textiles and clothing, finance and logistics, electronic information, automotive engineering, and environmental monitoring and management.
