Guangzhou City Polytechnic (广州城市职业学院, website) is a higher vocational college organized by the People’s Government of Guangzhou City in March 2005 and approved by the People’s Government of Guangdong Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. The college was inaugurated in September 2005. In May 2009, the Guangzhou Municipal Government approved the addition of the “Guangzhou Community College” brand to become the first community college in Guangzhou.

Guangzhou City Polytechnic is based in Guangzhou and serves the development of the city. In November 2013, it was established as a model vocational college in Guangdong Province by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. Guangzhou City Polytechnic is located in Guangzhou, an important national center city, with 5 campuses.
