Develop and implement the MYP English curriculum, including unit planners, lesson plans, and learning materials, in alignment with IB standards and the school’s educational philosophy;
Design engaging and inquiry-based learning experiences that encourage students to explore literature, language, and communication in meaningful and real-world contexts.Differentiated Instruction
Deliver differentiated lessons to cater to students with diverse abilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment;
Incorporate international-mindedness and real-world contexts into teaching, helping students understand the global relevance of language and literature.Collaborative Planning and Professional Development
Actively participate in horizontal and vertical team meetings, including departmental meetings, pedagogical discussions, and all-staff meetings, to ensure cohesive curriculum delivery;
Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay updated on IB MYP English best practices and innovative teaching methodologies.Project-Based Learning and Student Guidance
Supervise and mentor students in project-based learning (PBL) activities, guiding them through the process of analyzing texts, developing arguments, and creating original written and oral works;
Provide constructive feedback to students to help them refine their language skills, critical thinking, and creative expression.Classroom Management and Collaboration
Collaborate with colleagues and the senior management team to promote positive student behavior and maintain a disciplined, respectful classroom environment;
