Division Introduction

The Division of Global and Area Studies comprises 15 globally recruited, renowned scholars, all of whom have either taught or studied at the world’s top universities, whose work has been published in leading scholarly journals and recognized with prestigious international awards. 

Position

Executive Assistant

Job Duties include

1. Processing reimbursement requests and other financial management work on behalf of professors under the university’s financial management system;

2. Serve as a source of information on the university’s financial policies or the policies of other relevant funding institutions;

3. Provide administrative and logistical assistance to professors;

4. Carry out other related tasks assigned by professors.

Applicants should have

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, more than 1 year of work experience;

2. Excellent oral and writing skills in both Chinese and English;

3. Candidates with working experience in universities or research institutes are preferred;

4. Candidates with experience in project accounting and management are preferred;

5. Ability to work independently and proactively, be good at mobilizing resources, and have good organization, communication, and coordination skills;

6. A good working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
