Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong seeks an outstanding and inspiring Director of Aquatics to join our team. Post-holder Qualifications, Experience

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
  • Educated to at least degree standard in a related discipline 
  • Personal experience of swimming and competing at a high Level. 
  • Recognised Swim Coaching Qualification and preferably the ability to train others 
  • Current lifesaving certification 
  • Experience of coaching and leading teams at major events 
  • Experience of coaching children of all ages and to a high standard 
  • Experience of building swimming programmes for children of all ages and ability 
  • To lead up to 4 weeks of holiday swim camps per academic year 
  • Energetic and passionate about Aquatics
  • The ability to show cultural sensitivity and a nurturing approach to education 
  • A firm but supportive and approachable manner with the ability to lead others 
  • An understanding of the major safety protocols that exist around swimming pools and water safety 
  • Willingness to be flexible and accommodating to the demands of a busy International School Sports programme 
  • Proven experience in coaching different age groups and abilities over several years 
  • In depth technical and thorough knowledge of Swimming techniques and training methods 
  • Excellent inter-personal skills  
  • Excellent communication skills
