Positions
English teachers for English major undergraduates, and non-English major undergraduates and postgraduates.
Requirements

1) Must abide by China’s laws, decrees, regulations and SCNU’s regulations;
2) Native speakers of English；
3) Applicants for English teaching positions must be UK, US, Canadian, Australian, Irish or New Zealand passport holders;
4) Holding a Master’s Degree or above (degree in humanities/ social science preferred);
5) Holding a TESOL or TESL certificate;
6) Experience in teaching English at university level preferred;
7) Responsible, passionate and cooperative.

Salary & Benefits

Yearly salary: 180,000 RMB before taxes
Annual round-trip: international flight tickets between Guangzhou and the departure city
Assisted application for on-campus accommodation, rent is borne by the applicant.
* Compulsory purchase of commercial medical insurance by applicant.

Responsibilities
1) Teaching 12 periods (40-minute per period) per week;

* 20 academic weeks in a semester.
* Courses: Speaking, Writing, Reading, and EAP English for academic purposes.

2) Conducting writing workshops, and appearing as judges in contests/ extracurricular activities;
3) Developing teaching and other resources.
