Your responsibilities encompass teaching ELL classes, coordinating school-wide literacy initiatives, providing support for fellow educators, and offering individual support to students in their language learning.You will also: 

• Design and teach classes to enhance students’ English literacy, covering areas such as academic literacy and creative writing. 
• Foster meaningful relationships with each student to gain a deep understanding of their unique needs and deliver personalized support to facilitate their English language proficiency. 
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop effective methods of instruction, share resources, and exchange ideas to enhance the overall English language learning experience. 
• Identify and prioritize students who require the most language support, tailoring interventions to their specific needs. 
• Document interventions with student records and routinely monitor progress to ensure continuous improvement. 
• Collaborate with parents by providing feedback on their child’s progress and hosting seminars on topics like guided reading and effective language learning practices that can be implemented at home. 
• Foster meaningful relationships with each student to ensure a personalized and successful learning trajectory 
• Guide students in pursuing academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellect 
• Pursue continuous professional growth by participating in ongoing professional development, collaborating with colleagues, and staying informed on the latest educational techniques and best practices in your field
