About Us

Welcome to the Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine Group, led by Prof. Liming Bian! We are a dynamic, international research team based at the School of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, South China University of Technology (SCUT). Our research focuses on designing functional biomaterials that replicate the biochemical and biophysical cues of the natural cellular microenvironment. We apply these biomaterials in cell behavior regulation, cell therapy, and tissue regeneration, aiming to advance biomedical innovations and translational research.

About Prof. Liming Bian

Prof. Bian’s research focuses on multiscale biomaterials for investigating the effects of the cellular microenvironment on stem cell behaviors and promoting the regeneration of diseased or injured tissues and organs. His work has been published in top-tier scientific journals, including:

Compensation and Benefits

Salary:

Annual pre-tax salary: ¥350,000 to ¥470,000 RMB (approximately $48,000 to $65,000 USD), inclusive of medical insurance and individual income tax. Final salary will be negotiated based on experience and research achievements.  Medical Insurance:

Comprehensive health coverage is provided for all postdoctoral researchers.  Research Funding & Support:

Postdoctoral researchers will receive dedicated research funding, including access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The Guangzhou Government offers a support fund of ¥200,000 RMB (~$27,000 USD) for postdoctoral researchers.
