Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology (安徽冶金科技职业学院) is a vocational college with a history of more than 30 years. The college’s predecessor was the Magang Workers College founded in 1983. In June 2003, the Anhui Provincial Government officially approved the establishment of the “Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology.” School orientation: Relying on Maanshan Iron and Steel, facing the market, serving regional economic development as its purpose, taking employment as the guidance, optimizing the professional structure, building a perfect application-oriented professional group, and cultivating and adapting to Maanshan Iron and Steel through school-enterprise cooperation and the combination of engineering and learning Technically-skilled talents needed by society. In August 2009, in order to make effective use of education and training resources, Maanshan Iron and Steel Vocational College and Anhui Maanshan Technician College were integrated to establish the Maanshan Iron and Steel Vocational Education and Training Center. The integrated Anhui Metallurgical and Vocational College has optimized educational resources and enhanced Teachers and school conditions have been further improved. In December 2010, the college successfully passed the evaluation of talent training in higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province.

Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology has two campuses in the south and north, covering an area of about 330 acres and a construction area of 124,976 square meters. Anhui Vocational College of Metallurgy and Technology has 33 specialties and 3 special provincial specialties, namely metallurgy technology, material forming and control technology, numerical control technology, and 6 school-level specialties, namely electrical automation technology, metallurgical technology, and materials. Specialty in forming and control technology, tourism management, numerical control technology and automotive inspection and maintenance technology. The college is a vocational college focusing on metallurgy and cultivating high-quality technical and technical personnel for advanced manufacturing.
