China Youth University of Political Studies (中央团校) was founded in September 1948. Its predecessor dates back to the Lenin League School founded in Ruijin, Jiangxi in December 1932. In September 1985, the China Youth Political Academy was established on the basis of the Central Youth League School. Since 2012, it has been jointly established by the Youth League Central Committee and the Ministry of Education. In November 2017, the first meeting of the 19th Central Committee of Comprehensive Deepening Reform reviewed and approved the “Central Youth League School Reform Plan”, clearly defining the school’s fundamental positioning as a political school with distinctive characteristics in the field of youth work. China Youth University of Political Studies has three types of secondary institutions: education and training, teaching and research, and party and government services.
