Guangdong Maoming Agriculture and Forestry Technical College (广东茂名农林科技职业学院, website) was approved by the Guangdong Provincial Government in 2018 and reported to the Ministry of Education. It is a college-level full-time general college hosted by the Maoming Municipal People’s Government.

Guangdong Maoming Agriculture and Forestry Technical College runs a school focusing on the three major industries of agriculture, forestry and fishery. The college has 6 departments, including food engineering, garden engineering, biotechnology, economics and trade, animal sciences, and mechanical and electrical engineering. In the early days of its establishment, horticulture technology, landscape architecture design, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, food processing, and e-commerce were established. It is planned to reach 6,000 students and 500 faculty members in three years. After the college is completed, it can train more than 2,000 vocational agricultural, forestry and fishery application-oriented and technical talents for the province each year. The campus area of the school is 450 acres, the building area is 168,900 square meters, and teaching equipment is 35.43 million yuan.

The college is a public full-time general vocational college. The college is located in the beautiful coastal city of Maoming, Xicheng District, adjacent to the 4A scenic area “Maoming Forest Park”, with convenient transportation. The campus covers an area of 456 acres, with a construction area of 175,000 square meters. It has a reasonable planning, dynamic and static partitions, complete facilities, and an elegant environment.
