Hunan College of Information was founded in 1975, relocated from Huaihua to Changsha as a whole in 1991, and upgraded to a higher vocational college in 1999. It is a public vocational college directly under the Changsha Municipal Government, and the first batch of higher vocational technical colleges approved by the Ministry of Education of Hunan Province.
