1.The Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at National Taiwan University, Taiwan invites applicants for an assistant professor or higher positions for teaching and research in the field of olericulture. The Applicant is obligated to participate in teaching Advanced Horticultural Crop Physiology and vegetable related courses. The job is scheduled to begin on February 01, 2026. Information for application is available at the website http://www.hort.ntu.edu.tw.

2.The applicant must have a doctoral degree in horticulture or related fields. Documents required for application include:
(1) A CV including bibliography, research and teaching (please specify the rank applied, contact phone number, address, and e-mail address).
(2) Academic transcripts in undergraduate and graduate schools (If the degree-granting institution does not require coursework, an official statement signed by the department or the advisor should be included.), a certificate of Ph.D. degree, and a Ph.D. dissertation. Only a certificate of Ph.D. degree is required for full-professor applicants.
(3) One representative publication (original research article) should be indicated clearly, and was officially published in a SCIE (SSCI, A&HCI) indexed journal after February 01, 2021. The applicant must be identified as the first or corresponding author. Verification of Co-author’s Contribution to the Applicant’s Representative Publication (https://reurl.cc/778mDl) must be included. A Ph.D. dissertation published after February 01, 2021 is qualified as the representative publication for applicants applying for a position of assistant professor.
(4) A list and reprints of other reference papers published after February 01, 2019. Acceptance letters should be attached if the papers have been accepted but not published yet.
(5) A list of publications.
(6) Syllabus of tentative courses and research proposal (limited to 20 pages of A4 paper).
(7) Names, affiliations, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of three referees, who should be the advisors, supervisors or colleagues of the applicant.
(8) Recommendation letters should be directly sent by the referees to the Faculty Searching Committee via e-mailing hort@ntu.edu.tw & alexchang@ntu.edu.tw before June 23, 2025.

3.Application materials (Items 2.(1)-2.(7) in individual PDF files) should be submitted to hort@ntu.edu.tw by June 23, 2025. If the size of the files exceeds 10 MB, please provide us a link of cloud storage. If the applicant does not receive a confirmation email from the Departmental Office by June 24, 2025, please contact us by June 25, 2025 via emailing hort@ntu.edu.tw.
