· Engages and challenges student learning through questioning and discussion techniques and proven-pedagogical strategies

· Knows where students stand as individuals, responds to their needs, and supports their learning

· Creates a culture of learning and manages student behavior to ensure an environment of respect and collaboration Use appropriate supplemental and intervention curriculum/materials that align with student’s skill deficit areas to provide learning support.

· Know how to use and implement a range of effective strategies and analyze instructional approaches.

· Use technologies in the teaching/learning process

· Consistently assess student achievement through screening, progress monitoring, diagnostic and outcome measures.

· Administer and interpret assessment data to determine adequate progress, determine those in need of supplemental or intensive intervention.

· Work collaboratively with teachers and department heads on the implementation of classroom modifications and accommodations.
