Post-doctoral Fellow/Research Assistant for the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management
Job Description
The Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) aims to promote interdisciplinary research that is significant and relevant to the socio-economic development of Macao and the Greater Bay Area. APAEM’s research foci concentrate in four major areas, namely Financial Econometrics, Financial Innovation, Macao Economy and Smart Tourism. APAEM is now recruiting research personnel with relevant experience. The research members will support administrators and researchers in different research projects and events, assist the research team on data collection, literature search, event planning and organization. Initial appointment is up to 12 months with a possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement.
Qualifications
- Post-doctoral Fellow:
Holder of doctoral degree in relevant areas; with a tracked record of undertaking quality research.
- Research Assistant:
Holder of Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant areas; with related working experience in research and/or project.
The selected candidate is expected to assume duty as soon as possible.
Remuneration
Remuneration and appointment rank offered will be competitive and commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% – 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
