Responsibilities of the PYP PE Teacher(included but not limited to)
• Develop and follow a scope and sequence with student learning goals in mind
• Maintain lesson plans and proper teaching documentation
• Teach PE to a range of ages including students ages 3-12 years
• Use a range of strategies to differentiate where needed
• Collaboratewith homeroom teachers and other specialists
• Prepare and teach a unit of inquiry
• Coach in our PYP sports and ECA programmes
• Keep record of student growth and communicate with parents and students in conferences and reports

Education and disposition:
• A BA or higher in physical education or sports management (preferred) and/or qualified teacher status
• At least three years’ experience teaching primary school PE
• An enthusiasm for working with school age children
• Highly motivated to grow and innovate the PE programme
• Qualified swimming coach and/or life-saving
• Is comfortable with working with ELL students
