OBJECTIVES
The Marketing Manager is responsible for helping implement the marketing strategy and assist with admissions work designed to achieve the admissions target of the school.
The professional image and conduct of this person are crucial in emulating the ethos of the setting. The Marketing Manager must operate in a timely, determined and effective manner at all times. Autonomous, dedicated, determined and professional behavior will be key features of the post-holder’s practice and these will be consistently demonstrated at all times. The post holder must be able to communicate effectively with team members and external agents involved in the functions of Wellington College Hangzhou.
 
MAIN PURPOSE
To contribute to raising standards in Marketing by streamlining communication process, creating high quality contents including video contents, and supporting the Director of Marketing and Admissions in the achievement of marketing and enrolment targets.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Director of Marketing and Admissions on the strategic development of the marketing plan for Wellington College Hangzhou and implementing initiatives with measurable results.
Implement the communication and marketing strategy collaborating with the school team and Central Office.
Develop holistic annual content plan and marketing campaigns to position Wellington College Hangzhou as the ultra-premium brand of bilingual and international education in Hangzhou and Zhejiang province.
Harness good relationships with media (printing, website portal, social media), community partners, and the Wellington College Hangzhou community through regular communications and activities to create a positive ‘word of mouth’.
Update content on school six school websites to generate traffic and enquiries to achieve the admission enrolment target.
Manage regular content production, including copywriting and short videos, through Wellington College Hangzhou social media accounts, to build up the brand awareness and increase enrollment number.
Coordinate and help organise events for marketing and admissions on and off campus, such as but not limited to school open days (offline and online) educational exhibitions and partner events to build up the brand awareness and increase enrolment number.
Create and develop marketing collaterals for Wellington College Hangzhou to support admission enrolment and school operation.
Assist the Director of Admissions and Marketing to develop marketing reports for planning and evaluation.
Build and develop marketing team members for Wellington College Hangzhou.
Be responsible for other marketing daily tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

 
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree and above
 
LANGUAGE
Fluent written and spoken in both Chinese and English
 
WORK EXPERIENCE
5-8 years of relevant work experience; employment in foreign communication agency or corporate’s in-house marketing/advertisement department or international school’s marketing department as asset.
 
EXPERTISE 

Result oriented, team spirit, good at working under pressure
Copywriting skills and experience
Relevant digital marketing skills and experience
Strong multi-task and prioritisation ability
Good organisational and analytical skills
Sense of urgency
Excellent bilingual communication and interpersonal skills 
Sufficient skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and aptitude to operate appropriate databases
Team Management and development
